The Corbières
magnificent landscape of rocks grown with Mediterranean vegetation, alternated
by vineyards and typical villages, joining the rocky coast of Leucate and the
lagoons of Bages and Sigean. Here you will find famous wines, abbeys like the
ones of Fontfroide and Lagrasse, many cathar castles, the most famous ones are
those of Queribus and Peyrepertuse.
The Minervois
At the south the landscape is flat traversed by the Canal du Midi, vines, rich
in dolmens and menhirs, the village of Minerve, chapels and the abbey of Caunes.
In the North, the Minervois landscape gets more hilly and touches the Massif
Central.
Narbonne and the coast
Narbonne, first roman town outside Italy and crossroad of different cultures,
the landscape is flat having salt lagoons which are separated by little isles
from the coast, small sand beach resorts like Port La Nouvelle, Gruissan, Narbonne
Plage and St Pierre alternated by the protected zones of La Clape till Port
La Nouvelle
The Haute Vallée
The region around Quillan, the mountains of the Aude touching the Pyrenees.
Here you will find profound canyons, wild water rivers and forests. Ideal for

of Puilaurens and Puivert
The Montagne Noire (Cabardès)
region north-east of Carcassonne touching the Massif Central with the Pic de
Nore as central point (1210m altitude), many forests, lakes and the castles
of Lastours and Saissac and the grots of Cabrespine and Limousis

Having Limoux as capital town, famous for its Blanquette (the oldest sparkling
wine of the world) and its carnaval from January till March.Slope landscape,
